Technical and Toxicity Study Reports
Since 1989, BSI has provided scientific writing, editing, and desktop publishing services to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) for the preparation of National Toxicology Program Technical and Toxicity Study Reports (http://ntp.niehs.nih.gov). These book-length monographs provide an overview of the literature on the biologic effects of a particular substance or group of related chemicals and complete details of the conduct, results, and interpretation of toxicity and carcinogenicity bioassays in rodents and other species sponsored by the NIEHS and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). BSI’s work on this contract has led to awards from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and numerous awards in technical publications competitions sponsored by the Society for Technical Communication.
